Hey there. We’re João Barabás and Gabriel Grossi, better known as JOGA, a brazilian creative duo since 2018.
We met back in college and teamed up on the very first group project. It clicked right away. A few months later, we started our first internship together at BETC Havas, and that’s where the journey really began.
In 2019, we won the student award from the Brazilian Creative Club, which helped us land two spots at Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo. Pretty big deal for two kids fresh out of school, huh?
In 2020, we joined estud.io, an independent creative label in São Paulo, where we dove into all kinds of wild, experimental projects.
Then came three years at SOKO (now Droga5 São Paulo), creating campaigns for brands like Heinz, Spotify, and Corona.
After that, we spent some time at 404 Design & Innovation, working with Netflix and Google — mixing pop culture with a serious eye for craft.
Now we're at AKQA São Paulo, still side by side, still building cool stuff.
